Are you an artist, writer, musician, or creative? Submit your work to Rooted.

Art Forms Accepted: We accept submissions in a variety of mediums, including but not limited to painting, photography, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, performance art, writing, and music. We are always interested in non-traditional art forms!
Submissions that align with our mission of amplifying diverse and underrepresented voices are encouraged. Works that explore identity, culture, community, and social impact are highly encouraged.
Artists retain all rights to their work. By submitting, you grant Rooted permission to publish your work in both print and digital formats, including social media and promotional materials.

Artists can only submit once per submission period to ensure fairness and diversity of featured voices.

All written materials (artist statements, bios, descriptions) must be submitted in English. Non-English submissions should include an accurate translation.

We are looking for fresh perspectives and innovative artistic approaches. Non-traditional artists are highly encouraged to submit.

We accept submissions from artists worldwide. There are no geographic restrictions.

Preference is given to artists whose work aligns with Rooted's mission of uplifting underrepresented voices.

Professional presentation and high-quality imagery are essential for print consideration.

We prefer work that has not been previously published. However, we may consider previously exhibited or published work if it aligns with the magazine's themes and mission.

All submissions must be original works created by the artist. Collaborative works are accepted, but all contributors must be credited.

We do not accept submissions that contain hate speech, discriminatory content, AI generated art, or works that violate copyright or intellectual property laws.
