Kianna is an academic and novelist who, as a social scientist, enjoys examining the concept of self and the generalized other, and how our experiences shape our entire lives. She's long explored the social constructs we base our reality on through belief and behavior. In her work, you will see themes of classism, race, gender, and sexuality based on socio-anthropological, economic, and social-psychological theories, and you might also find some physics concepts in her work, such as quantum theory, cosmology, and astrophysics.
Her stories broadcast big messages in creative ways, examining how our world works and influences us, but it is also a look into her own psyche. Her stories serve as a message to the world, one of hope and rescue, and as a method of saving and healing herself, accomplishing two challenging tasks at once.
